FEI in Tassie 2012 March

Well, Tassie hosted an 80km FEI Event, 3rd- 4th March, which Camille and I were very fortunate to be apart of, The Event was a complete success, for being put together on short notice, well done to BURNIE EQUINE ENDURANCE RIDERS, (B.E.E.R)
We are also looking at some different Venues to hold some Endurance Events from next year,
Charlton is one such Town , they were ravaged by the 2011 floods, and we are hoping to be able to help Rejuvenate the Towns Spirit, a little by holding some Great rides, from the Pony Club Grounds. We have already been offered some sponsorship, from a few local retailers, who have been hit hard in the floods and can still smile and give generously,
Avoca Racecourse and the Shire are also willing to help us with an Event, stay tuned for more details and Pics.

For 2 committed endurance riding members of SCEI 2010 saw Tamara qualifying her new horse Ransom Bartholomew (right), and Rachael achieving a joint 1st and 1st (bc) at the two 160km rides held in Vic 2010 on Big Charles (above).

We hope you will tune into our blog site updates on the progress of all our riders and their trusty steeds as they work through 2011.

Southern Crosse are moving forward with a little help from our sponsors, we hope to have a team ready to go to the Endurance Forum, lets hope our sponsors can lend a helping hand, We had a good time in Tassie helping to put the Burnie AERA, FEI Rides together, what a great bunch we had over there, well done to all.. We had some learning curbs, so we will be able to add a little to our rides, Thank you to the Burnie team for inviting us,
